Thus, sabinene is considered to be an isoprenoid lipid molecule. Sabinene is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. (-)-Sabinene is found in herbs and spices and is a constituent of Laurus nobilis (bay laurel).
Constituent of Laurus nobilis (bay laurel) and some other plants. (-)-4(10)-Thujene is found in sweet bay and herbs and spices.
Sabinene is a thujene that is a bicyclic monoterpene isolated from the essential oils of various plant species. It has a role as a plant metabolite.
