Toralactone is an organic heterotricyclic compound that is 9,10-dihydroxy-1H-benzo[g]isochromen-1-one substituted at positions 3 and 7 by methyl and methoxy groups respectively. It has a role as a plant metabolite. It is an organic heterotricyclic compound, a lactone, a member of phenols, an aromatic ether, a polyketide and a naphtho-alpha-pyrone. It is functionally related to a nor-toralactone.
Toralactone is a natural product found in Senna obtusifolia and Senna tora with data available.
