Methylophiopogonone B is a homoisoflavonoid that is 4H-1-benzopyran-4-one substituted by hydroxy groups at positions 5 and 7, methyl groups at positions 6 and 8 and a (4-methoxyphenyl)methyl group at position 3 respectively. It has a role as a plant metabolite. It is a homoisoflavonoid, a member of resorcinols and a monomethoxybenzene.
