Punicic_acid

cis-9, trans-11, cis-13-octadecatrienoic acid

C18H30O2 (278.2246)

(9Z,11E,13Z)-octadecatrienoic acid is a 9,11,13-octadecatrienoic acid having its double bonds in cis, trans and cis configurations, respectively. It has been isolated from pomegranate (Punica granatum). It has a role as an antineoplastic agent and a plant metabolite. Punicic acid is a natural product found in Trichosanthes nervifolia, Punica granatum, and other organisms with data available. Punicic Acid is a polyunsaturated long-chain fatty acid with an 18-carbon backbone and exactly three double bonds, originating from the 5th, 7th and 9th positions from the methyl end, with these three bonds in the cis-, trans- and cis- configurations, respectively. See also: Pomegranate Seed Oil (has part). A 9,11,13-octadecatrienoic acid having its double bonds in cis, trans and cis configurations, respectively. It has been isolated from pomegranate (Punica granatum).

9,10-Dihydroxystearic acid

Calcium (9 or 10)-hydroxy-(10 or 9)-oxidooctadecanoate

C18H36O4 (316.2613)

9,10-dihydroxystearic acid, also known as 9,10-dhsa or 9,10-dioh 18:0, is a member of the class of compounds known as long-chain fatty acids. Long-chain fatty acids are fatty acids with an aliphatic tail that contains between 13 and 21 carbon atoms. Thus, 9,10-dihydroxystearic acid is considered to be an octadecanoid lipid molecule. 9,10-dihydroxystearic acid is practically insoluble (in water) and a weakly acidic compound (based on its pKa). 9,10-dihydroxystearic acid can be found in peanut, which makes 9,10-dihydroxystearic acid a potential biomarker for the consumption of this food product. 9,10-dihydroxyoctadecanoic acid is a hydroxy-fatty acid formally derived from octacecanoic (stearic) acid by hydroxy substitution at positions 9 and 10. It is a dihydroxy monocarboxylic acid and a hydroxyoctadecanoic acid. It is a conjugate acid of a 9,10-dihydroxystearate. 9,10-Dihydroxystearic acid is a natural product found in Trypanosoma brucei and Apis cerana with data available.

D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate

{[(1S,2S,3S,4S,5R,6S)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydroxy-6-(phosphonooxy)cyclohexyl]oxy}phosphonic acid

C6H14O12P2 (339.9961)

D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as inositol phosphates. Inositol phosphates are compounds containing a phosphate group attached to an inositol (or cyclohexanehexol) moiety. D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). In humans, D-myo-inositol 3,4-bisphosphate participates in a number of enzymatic reactions. In particular, D-myo-inositol 3,4-bisphosphate can be biosynthesized from inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate through the action of the enzyme inositol polyphosphate 1-phosphatase. D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate is an intermediate in inositol phosphate metabolism. D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate is converted from D-myo-inositol-3-phosphate via inositol polyphosphate-4-phosphatase (EC 3.1.3.66). 1D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate is an intermediate in inositol phosphate metabolism. 1D-myo-Inositol 3,4-bisphosphate is converted from 1D-myo-inositol-3-phosphate via inositol polyphosphate-4-phosphatase [EC:3.1.3.66].
