Jasmonic acid

Cyclopentaneacetic acid, 3-oxo-2-(2-pentenyl)-, [1R-[1alpha,2beta(Z)]]-

C12H18O3 (210.1256)

Jasmonic acid is an oxo monocarboxylic acid that is (3-oxocyclopentyl)acetic acid substituted by a (2Z)-pent-2-en-1-yl group at position 2 of the cyclopentane ring. It has a role as a plant metabolite and a member of jasmonates. It is a conjugate acid of a jasmonate(1-). It is an enantiomer of a (+)-jasmonic acid. Jasmonic acid is a natural product found in Ficus superba, Cleyera japonica, and other organisms with data available. Jasmonic acid is found in apple. Esters are present in Jasminum grandiflorum (royal jasmine) and are responsible for its odour. Jasmonic acid is a member of the jasmonate class of plant hormones. It is biosynthesized from linolenic acid by the octadecanoid pathway An oxo monocarboxylic acid that is (3-oxocyclopentyl)acetic acid substituted by a (2Z)-pent-2-en-1-yl group at position 2 of the cyclopentane ring. Benzylamine

Poly(styrene-divinylbenzene), aminomethylated

C7H9N (107.0735)

Benzylamine, also known as a-aminotoluene or moringine, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as phenylmethylamines. Phenylmethylamines are compounds containing a phenylmethtylamine moiety, which consists of a phenyl group substituted by an methanamine. Benzylamine is found, on average, in the highest concentration within a few different foods, such as corns, white cabbages, and cabbages and in a lower concentration in wild carrots, carrots, and apples. Benzylamine has also been detected, but not quantified, in several different foods, such as common chokecherries, black cabbages, macadamia nut (m. tetraphylla), ginsengs, and lettuces. This could make benzylamine a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Alkaloid from Moringa oleifera (horseradish tree) CONFIDENCE standard compound; INTERNAL_ID 8084

12-oxo-PDA

8-[(1S,5S)-4-oxo-5-[(2Z)-pent-2-en-1-yl]cyclopent-2-en-1-yl]octanoic acid

C18H28O3 (292.2038)

12-oxo-pda, also known as (15z)-12-oxophyto-10,15-dienoate or 12-oxo-10,15(Z)-phytodienoic acid, is a member of the class of compounds known as prostaglandins and related compounds. Prostaglandins and related compounds are unsaturated carboxylic acids consisting of a 20 carbon skeleton that also contains a five member ring, and are based upon the fatty acid arachidonic acid. Thus, 12-oxo-pda is considered to be an octadecanoid lipid molecule. 12-oxo-pda is practically insoluble (in water) and a weakly acidic compound (based on its pKa). 12-oxo-pda can be found in corn, which makes 12-oxo-pda a potential biomarker for the consumption of this food product. Cyclopentanone

3-Acetyl-6-methyl-pyran-2,4(3H)-dione

C5H8O (84.0575)

Cyclopentanone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as ketones. These are organic compounds in which a carbonyl group is bonded to two carbon atoms R2C=O (neither R may be a hydrogen atom). Ketones that have one or more alpha-hydrogen atoms undergo keto-enol tautomerization, the tautomer being an enol. Cyclopentanone is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble in water, and relatively neutral. Thus, cyclopentanone is considered to be an oxygenated hydrocarbon lipid molecule. Cyclopentanone is a cyclic ketone, structurally similar to cyclopentane, consisting of a five-membered ring containing a ketone functional group. Cyclopentanone is a colorless liquid organic compound with a peppermint-like odor. Cyclopentanone is found in various foods, including potato and tomato, and cooked foods, e.g. butter, meats, coffee, roasted peanut. Cyclopentanone is also used as a flavouring ingredient. Found in various foods, including potato and tomato, and cooked foods, e.g. butter, meats, coffee, roasted peanut. Flavouring ingredient
