Sulfinpyrazone sulfide is a metabolite of sulfinpyrazone. Sulfinpyrazone is a uricosuric medication used to treat gout. It also sometimes is used to reduce platelet aggregation by inhibiting degranulation of platelets which reduces the release of ADP and thromboxane.
