Glucoibervirin is a member of the class of compounds known as alkylglucosinolates. Alkylglucosinolates are organic compounds containing a glucosinolate moiety that carries an alkyl chain. Glucoibervirin is slightly soluble (in water) and an extremely strong acidic compound (based on its pKa).
