Lercanidipine
Lercanidipine is only found in individuals that have used or taken this drug. It is a calcium channel blocker of the dihydropyridine class. It is sold under various commercial names including Zanidip.By deforming the channel, inhibiting ion-control gating mechanisms, and/or interfering with the release of calcium from the sarcoplasmic reticulum, Lercanidipine inhibits the influx of extracellular calcium across the myocardial and vascular smooth muscle cell membranes The decrease in intracellular calcium inhibits the contractile processes of the myocardial smooth muscle cells, causing dilation of the coronary and systemic arteries, increased oxygen delivery to the myocardial tissue, decreased total peripheral resistance, decreased systemic blood pressure, and decreased afterload. Dihydroergocristine
Longicalycinin A
A homodetic cyclic peptide composed of glycyl, L-phenylalanyl, L-tyrosyl, L-prolyl and L-phenylalanyl residues joined sequentially to give a 15-membered macrocycle. Isolated from Dianthus superbus var longicalycinus, it exhibits anti-cancer activity.
Nicotinic acid 6-acetoxy-5a-(acetoxymethyl)-7-(benzoyloxy)decahydro-8,9-dihydroxy-2,2,9-trimethyl-3,9a-methano-1-benzoxepin-5-yl ester
dihydroergocristine
Ergocristine in which a single bond replaces the double bond between positions 9 and 10. It is used as the mesylate salt for the symptomatic treatment of mental deterioration associated with cerebrovascular insufficiency and in peripheral vascular disease.
