Indole-3-acetyl-glutamine, also known as n(2)-(1h-indol-3-ylacetyl)glutaminate or iaa-gln, belongs to glutamine and derivatives class of compounds. Those are compounds containing glutamine or a derivative thereof resulting from reaction of glutamine at the amino group or the carboxy group, or from the replacement of any hydrogen of glycine by a heteroatom. Indole-3-acetyl-glutamine is practically insoluble (in water) and a weakly acidic compound (based on its pKa).
