Monobutyl phtalate is a metabolite of di(n-butyl)phthalate.Women of reproductive age (20-40 years) were found to have significantly higher.
Isolated from maize kernels (Zea mays). MBP 1 is found in cereals and cereal products.
Monobutyl phthalate, a major metabolite of dibutyl phthalate (DBP), possesses antiandrogenic effects. Monobutyl phthalate is an embryotoxicant[1][2].
