1,2 diaminopropane, also known as 1,2-Propanediamine or 1-Methylethylenediamine, is classified as a member of the monoalkylamines. Monoalkylamines are organic compounds containing an primary aliphatic amine group. 1,2 diaminopropane is considered to be a soluble (in water) and a very strong basic compound. 1,2 diaminopropane can be found in blood and urine.
