Kinetensin is a nonapeptide, originally isolated from pepsin-treated plasma that shares some sequence homology with the C-terminal end of neurotensin, serum albumin and angiotensin. It is a potent histamine releaser in rodents and may serve as an inflammatory mediator [HMDB]
