描述信息

Maslinic acid methyl ester is a member of the class of compounds known as triterpenoids. Triterpenoids are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. Maslinic acid methyl ester is practically insoluble (in water) and a very weakly acidic compound (based on its pKa). Maslinic acid methyl ester can be found in cloves and loquat, which makes maslinic acid methyl ester a potential biomarker for the consumption of these food products.
